A Good Week

This week has treated Mike Huckabee and those of us supporting him very well. To begin with, Rasmussen Reports has Mike LEADING in Iowa. That’s huge. Check it out here.
Tonight, Mike did a very good job in the Florida Republican Presidential debate. For those of you that missed it, here’s my summary:
Mike Huckabee: not given much air time, [...]

New TV Ad

Here’s a preview of a new ad that will begin airing in Iowa tomorrow. It’s simple, straightforward, and it highlights the key difference between Mike and the others – that he’s a social conservative and always has been. Kudos to the Guv’s campaign staff for creating this one!

Potpourri

Hey All,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We certainly do have a great deal to be thankful for, living in a country like this, enjoying the prosperity and freedoms that we do, and having the opportunity to be involved in the political process.
If you haven’t seen it yet, here is a great video [...]

(More) Reasons to Like Mike

If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out this very good article from Newsweek. It articulates a strong case why Huckabee is the better alternative to Romney, Giuliani, and Thompson!

Too much?

Today Mike Huckabee debuted his first campaign television advertisement. I must confess, it concerns me.

You see, I work in a field called Experience Design. I know that sounds like I create retail displays or something, but experience design is an emergent field within branding. We study what customer experiences have the biggest impact [...]

Be sure to vote on…

…election day. Whenever that is.
For those following the saga of when the first primary elections will take place, Michigan’s Jan 15 date got the boot today. It may go the Supreme Court. What that means for us voters is not clear. And in the meantime, New Hampshire is playing coy.  Thankfully, Nebraska seems to still be [...]

“We’re number two! We’re number two!”

Not used to people cheering about being number two? Well, perhaps a more accurate cheer should be, “We’re number two for now… look out Rudy!”
Today the Rasmussen poll (one of, if not the, most respected national political polls) has Mike Huckabee tied with Thompson and Romey for second place. Now in reality, Giuliani’s numbers are [...]

Where is Grinnell, Iowa?

For the first twenty five years of my life, I’d never heard of Grinnell, Iowa. Then, while living in Chicago, I met my wife. She was born in Grinnell, and grew up in another Iowa town where she raised hogs and soybeans. Okay, she didn’t really raise hogs and soybeans, but I like to tease [...]

So…close…

A little polling update for you. If you haven’t seen it, Huckabee is oh-so-close to becoming the first place Republican candidate in Iowa. Here’s an excerpt from an e-mail that Mike sent to those on his mailing list this afternoon:
“Yesterday I emailed to say that we had broken 20% in the latest CBS/NYT poll conducted [...]

The Bad News and The Good News

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for us Huckabee supporters. While it shouldn’t surprise us, the attacks on Mike have skyrocketed. Romney has determined that he’s going to attack Mike on his immigration views, which aren’t really a source of concern to most, but immigration is a hot-button for Iowans. Of bigger concern are the attacks on [...]
