About Me

Who me? Sure, I’ll tell ya a little bit. My name is Ryan, I live in Grand Rapids (which you’ve probably ascertained by now), and I work in brand strategy for one of the large companies in town.

I hate to seem like a walking-and-talking stereotype, but I’m pretty much what you’d think of when you consider the electorate here in GR… I’m a Christian, a family man, a middle-class working professional, and a conservative Republican.  Consider me an avatar for the typical GR voter.

My favorite political commentator is Bill Kristol (click here to read what he wrote about “President Huckabee” in the NY Times!) and consider myself an objective commentator, despite my preference for Huckabee. Also, I hate to sound cheesy, but having spent nearly ten years of my life in Chicago, I love Grand Rapids more now than ever.
